Phil Clinton's career as an educator began after his graduation from Oberlin College when he joined the faculty as a Spanish Language and Literature teacher at the Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts.
Later, after earning his Master's degree from Duke University, Phil entered educational administration as the High School Principal and Director of College Counseling at the Canterbury School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
In 1989, Phil accepted the position of Director of College Counseling at the Cairo American College in Cairo, Egypt, thus beginning a career of over 25 years in international education.
Over the years, as college counselor, Principal, Headmaster, and Educational Consultant, Phil has had the opportunity to help hundreds of students and their families to make important life decisions. He was one of the founding members of he Overseas Association of College Admissions Counselors (OACAC) and served as Vice President and President of OACAC in its formative years.
Through his work as college counselor, Phil has visited scores of college and university campuses in the US and abroad and has cultivated important professional relationships with admission personnel over the years.
